    Looking for a way to impact your students and afford them with the knowledge, leverage and connections needed to make a successful career after graduation? InVEST can help.

    If you already have an active InVEST program, it is essential to register ( link to log-in/ register page)  your program to receive all benefits and free resources available to students, including the annual scholarship contest.
  • Volunteers
    Working hand in hand with educators, liaisons are the primary representatives for the industry in the classroom, providing exciting, real-life input.  The commitment level of a liaison is determined by the liaison and the teacher. A liaison may speak once a semester to students in the classroom, or be as involved as offering job shadow days and internships. InVEST liaisons not only help educate students about insurance, but they have an opportunity to gain highly qualified employees.

    Are you interested in getting involved with InVEST but don't know where to start, or what exactly the program entails? As a Young Agent, InVEST needs your help to attract young people to the industry and enlighten them about the rewarding careers within the industry.

Do you strive to provide your students the skills and knowledge needed to excel after graduation? InVEST can help. InVEST surveyed students and 49% indicated that the course was very valuable to learn about insurance concepts.

InVEST provides free resources educators can customize to fit the needs of any classroom. Some teachers choose to offer a full semester InVEST course while others incorporate elements of InVEST into a business class.

InVEST provides:
  • assistance from national staff and an experienced Teacher Task Force
  • free curriculum, lesson plans, games and activities
  • guest speakers (varies by location)
  • recommended curriculum for community colleges.

The InVEST Program has had huge success in my Marketing Education class. Excellent material is provide in terms of Teacher Instruction Manuals with lesson plans and Student Workbooks. I had one student earn an InVEST Scholarship of $500. Several students have continued their business and risk management studies in post-secondary education. Every year several of my students have parents that work in the insurance industry.  One of the main benefits of the InVEST Program, is that students learn about exciting career opportunities in the insurance industry. Students also learn entrepreneurial skills in case study work as well as using technology to prepare marketing campaigns and sales proposals. InVEST also provides variety in the Marketing Education curriculum in a fun and interesting environment for students. I hope you strongly consider the InVEST Program for your school, and the best of luck in the implementation.
