Virtual Enterprises International (VEI) students will defend their business plans at the annual New York Citywide Business Plan Competition. The competition showcases best practices, rewards excellence, and provides an opportunity to observe students applying real-world skills typically attributed to business professionals. Winning teams earn the right to compete against the strongest national teams at the National Business Plan Competition to be held in late March 2012.
Serve as a judge at this year's Virtual Enterprises International Citywide Business Plan Competition, which will be hosted again by Deloitte & Touche, Two World Financial Center in New York City on Friday, January 13, 2012. The competition will highlight the enthusiasm, talent, commitment and achievement of our students as they make the transition from school to college to career. Your presence at the event will emphasize the importance of our mission to educate young people in the world of business and finance.
You can volunteer for either the morning or watch the competition in the afternoon. The agenda for the day will be as follows:

8:30 AM Judges’ briefing and review of brief summaries of presenting teams’ business plans (coffee, tea and juice available).
9:00 AM Presentations begin
11:55 AM Announcement of qualifiers for afternoon, championship round
12:00 PM Light lunch
Afternoon Event
1:30-4:30 PM Participants observe the championship round
