    *Must be participating in a high school or community college InVEST class and pursuing higher education with an emphasis on insurance, risk management, actuarial science or business.

  • Do you have plans to go directly into the workforce after high school? If so, the "Classroom to Career" scholarship has your name written all over it. For students not transitioning to a two or four year college, InVEST has made scholarships available to assist students with licensing, IIA courses, CISR or ACSR.

    The Dach Award is bestowed upon InVEST industry liaisons dedicated to their InVEST students. To nominate your industry liaison, read the entire article.
  • The InVEST Silent Auction will once again be held during the Big “I” Legislative Conference and Convention April 25-27, 2012 in Washington, D.C. and InVEST needs your help to continue the success of past auctions by donating to the 2012 Silent Auction.
    100% of auction proceeds contribute to the InVEST scholarship fund which provides scholarship dollars to InVEST graduates pursuing insurance related careers or studies at two or four year universities.
  • InVEST program relies on the commitment of our volunteers and teachers to bring insurance to life for students.  Congratulations and thanks go to the following individuals:
  • Each year InVEST awards scholarships to students who have completed the InVEST program and are going to further their education by studying risk, finance, insurance or a business related course.  InVEST also helps students taking entry-level courses that are entering the workforce directly after school.
  • Thank you 2010 donors, auction supporters and the Big "/"National Young Agents Committee. Because of your support, InVEST Awarded $56,500 in Student Scholarships for InVEST graduates pursuing insurance industry careers.

InVEST Dach Award (Volunteer)

Is your InVEST industry liaison the tops, worthy of praise and recognition? Then we want to remind you of an award that can benefit your InVEST industry liaison and your classroom. The Dach Award is bestowed upon InVEST industry liaisons dedicated to their InVEST students. To nominate your industry liaison, you must complete a Dach Award Application Form and submit the following:

An essay detailing why this liaison should receive the award to include
  • A description of your nominee’s involvement in the program (i.e. length of time, in what capacity, contributions including volunteer service, financial assistance, recruitment and training)
  • Your nominee’s accomplishments including number of students and classrooms served, any scholarships awarded to students, assistance with program development, and future goals set for the program
  • Advocacy on behalf of InVEST including conferences attended or meetings held, company/agency awareness campaigns and public relations, and any internships provided to students
  • Samples of any classroom materials and/or photos
  •  
  • Letters of recommendation from additional individuals involved in the program. 

The announcement of winner of the Dach Award will be during the IIABA Young Agents Leadership Institutes conference.  The winner will have travel expenses paid to attend this event.  2012 Young Agent Leadership Institute is Sept 7-9 in Altanta, GA.
